Mighty Ducks Gear

I am completely excited about going to see the Anaheim Mighty Ducks next month at the Sommet Center. And though they're here to play our hometown Predators, I will be cheering for my favorite team ever. . . the Ducks!!

So, I thought, like any fan, I need to some team-pride attire. I began doing a little shopping on ebay. And I couldn't believe what I found, well, I can. It just cracked me up! Isn't the point to proudly display your favorite team?!?! Maybe this would be appropriate for your favorite beach volleyball team, but ice hockey no less!?!?! Yikes!!

Yeah, I'll be skipping the Duck panties and sticking to a warm sweatshirt or something a lot less revealing!

I am going to gramma

Dave was trying to get Charity to hang out with him in his office as he worked this morning and sign some Christmas thank you cards. Well, obviously it was taking a little longer than Charity wanted to give. She was ready to head down to Gramma's to begin her day of playing. Dave was on the phone and wasn't getting off fast enough. So Charity wrote him a note.

This happened as I was just leaving for work. I asked her had she finished her cards. She said no, but would do them later. She told me about the note she had left.

I couldn't leave then. I had to go check it out. Glad I did. It made my whole day. Too cute!!

Finally . . .

Ahhhh, updated the blog. Blog is happy . . . I am happy!! :D

Goal for the coming year: more entries than this year (169 so far). Or at least more consistency.

I guess only time will tell!

For now, may 2010 be your best year yet!

All I Want for Christmas . . .

is my one front tooth! That my Mom knocked out with her bum (as we were playing walking up the stairs from Gramma's) and I swallowed. Ut-0h!

Hope the tooth fairy still knows to come!

Santa Makes Me Smile

A friend gave this little guy to me as hostess gift. She said is was "just for fun". I decided he belonged in our master bath since it lacks any signs that it's even Christmas.

Now every time I'm in there, I smile. I don't know, he's just cute and brings cheer to an otherwise boring room. Thanks, Mysty!

Christmas Parties!

It was a busy, busy Saturday. Started the day with a Girl Scout cookie party this morning, then I had a choir clinic at noon for a few hours and then Charity had her annual party at Mysty's with her friends! Mysty offered for Charity to ride to Ashland City with her since she was here for the choir clinic. I thought she'd never agreed, but she was so excited. She could hardly wait! What fun! At 6, she's learning how much fun the holidays can be especially sharing time with the ones you love!

Here's some shots from the this morning's Girl Scout party.

Doing a craft.

All the loot! :P Yum, yum!
