Getting Ready . . .

Oh, things are going to be crazy over the next week or so . . . I've started like 8 lists to try and keep myself organized. Next Wednesday is my Mom's 50th and the day Charity and I fly out to go visit her for a week. If that alone wasn't reason to have to do seven million things, next week is also Charity's last week of school. And with Mother's Day and her Kindergarten visit at NCS . . . things are gonna' be right out CRAZZZZEEE!!!

Trying to keep my thoughts straight . . . This Week . . .

XRT Meeting @ Panera Bread on 21st ~ Today 5 PM

Graduate Night @ First Church ~ May 7th 7:30 PM

Dave's Vacation Days ~ May 8th & 9th

* Hoping he can help me get some stuff done . . . I said HOPING!!

Charity's Kindergarten Visit @ NCS ~ May 8th 3 PM

Charity's Mother Day Brunch @ Brook Hollow ~ May 9th 9 AM - 10 AM

Asian Kid's Fun Day @ Centennial Park ~ May 10th 1 PM - 5 PM

and next . . .

Mother's Day Sunday Service ~ May 11th 10 AM

XRT Meeting ~ May 13th 5 PM

Brook Hollow School Picnic ~ May 14th 9 AM

* Need to get together Summer gifts for Mrs. Greenlee and Ms. Debra, as well as the 13 children in Charity's class . . . all to hand out at her School Picnic on May 14th (that we're squeezing in before we fly out at 6:50 pm that day!!) The last day of school actually is May 16th, but sadly we'll be in Maine. :( She thinks the picnic is the finale. I guess, for her it is!

Leave for Maine ~ May 14th 6:50 PM

* I need to pack, but first I must figure out the crazy weather so I know what to pack!!

* I want to leave my laptop at the repair shop while I'm gone . . . so when I come home, I'll have a nice working laptop . . . it seems like a dream, it's been "broken" for so long!

Happy 50th, Mom!! ~ May 14th

* Don't have a clue what to give my Mom for her birthday. Dave thinks my visit alone is enough. I don't know. We've also planned a special family night away in Bar Harbor, with dinner and mini golf . . . so it should be fun!! But I'd still like to give her something to unwrap.

* Must remember to tan every day to maximize my "baked" look and the $40 I spent.

* Also wanting to get Charity signed up for gymnastics at Westside Athletic Club so it's all in place when we return from Maine.

I do feel good that we got all the Mother's Day cards out today!! Yay!! That's probably the earliest we've ever done that.

Life is Crazy!!
