It’s Friday, friends. It’s finally here!
The day for which we leap and cheer!
We’ll soon be gone from these bars and walls
I for one will be skipping down the halls.

I long for sunshine and fresh clean air
Away from the yelling and Metalica blare
Home to the solace of bird and song
Safe from the cursing and wanton throng.

We’ll soon be free to laugh and dance
I’ll do the Hustle if I have half a chance
So join with me in this blissful glee
And I’ll try not to fall down and skin my knee.
