You Can't Do It All Everyday

Ummm . . . this isn't good. I didn't get the thank you's done. Oh dear, this is actually really bad. Why do I have such a problem doing these simple little cards, inserting a cute lil' portrait of the fair child and dropping them in the mail. Am I mental? O.K. don't answer that!

Well, I didn't completely waste the day.

I registered Charity for school, dropping off all her supplies and important forms. We also met the teacher, saw the classroom. It's going to be a really great year! Ms. Rhodes (sp?) is going to be awesome!!

Met up with Jaden and Sophie at registration and had them over for some playing fun. Allison and I got a lot, A LOT, though out for our Christmas Village booth. Ummm . . . did I say I had a problem with procrastination, because this event isn't until November. In your face, PROCRASTINATION!! (It's just the thank you's I'm avoiding, I guess!?!?) Our booth should be awesome! Riddle: What's Black and White with used clothes all over? Answer: Wonderland Closets!!!! I'm sure if I've completely lost you on this, they'll be plenty more details as it gets closer. Fa, la, la, la, laa, la, la, la, laa!! *<]:o)

I vacuumed the whole downstairs! Yippee!

Made Charity an navy bow and ironed her clothes for her 1st day of school tomorrow. Side note: Aren't I doing good on the emotion thing? I definitely need some kudos here, people, because I'm surprising even myself at how well I'm doing with the separation. Preschool helped a lot. I remember thinking last year about her first day, "I can't believe I'm leaving her 3 hours with people I don't even know? What an awful mother I am?" But it was all good. Not sure about getting her to bed and up in time to be at school every morning at 7:45am! We're not morning people . . . this is definitely the start of new chapter in our life.

On that note, I did get Charity to bed before 8 and she was sleeping by 8:30pm. She even had a bath. Ummm, more kudos please!! LoL! It's been a long time since she was in bed this early. A new chapter, I'm telling you!

Applied for a job! Yippee!!

Contacted Holly about meeting for lunch tomorrow. Made reservations for 4 at Lillie Belle's in Franklin for 12:30pm. So psyched to see Holly and Rhonda! Cannot believe it's been over a year! I miss 'em so much! Anyway, we've got lots of catching up to do and over a scrumptious meal . . . I can't wait!!

Final task completed, I've set my alarm for 6am. Pray . . . I think that's a sin just waking up at that hour! But since we've got a busy, busy day tomorrow, I must get some sleep.

Good night!!
