I don't know if I was worried about something happening to the hermit crab or about having to read a story to 19 Kindergartners, but either way I didn't get any pictures today in Charity's classroom when I read "A House for Hermit Crab" by Eric Carle. Wow! That's a big class. And Charity successfully passed around her hermit crab to all 18 children. As of right now, Ethal's still alive . . . we'll see over the next few days!
I did get a picture as we enjoyed our pizza lunch together.
It was all good, until it was time to go . . . then Charity wanted to come home with me, which I thought we had explained a million times of how this would work. So I had to leave her crying. I don't think she carried on too long. But I'm glad we both made it through Lucky Ducky day!
