Saturday was pretty mundane.
Charity had a birthday for a boy in her Kindergarten class, Stephen, at 12pm at Pizza Perfect. After we did some grocery shopping.
Sunday we only had one AM service. Hung out in the afternoon and then went for a little ride in the evening to run a couple errands and just to get out of the house. Made super yummy Black Bean Soup (Thank you, Allison!! :P) in the Crockpot that was ready for dinner when we got back. Though it's not soup weather, it hit the spot and it was my greatest accomplishment of the weekend!!
Today . . . absolutely nothing. Dave entertained Charity outside while I prepared for this week, ironing Charity's school uniforms and getting her things together in her bag for tomorrow. It's her special "Lucky Ducky" week at school, so I had to gather some photos of her, and prepare for my visit. I'm bringing in her hermit crab . . . oh, how did I forget! Ed died today. So I was bringing in her hermit crab(s), until today. What was so weird is she freaked out yesterday saying Ed was dead. And when Daddy checked him, he was alive, but not today. Thank goodness, it wasn't as bad as Ethel. I guess because she was the first to die. We're down to one, the most recent one, Ethel II. Charity took it really well when Daddy said she wasn't getting any more. Awwww, we'll miss the little guy!
R.I.P Ed (He's the smaller one hermit-ing in this picture. The big one, Ethel II, now has the whole box to herself.)
Anyway . . . Not much excitement beyond that! Which is okay every now and then. I feel very well rested and relaxed for this week. For what this weekend lacked, I'm sure I'll find in the assignment I'm headed on tomorrow morning in Cool Springs for OfficeTeam. Got the call on Friday and I said sure. Should be an interesting day!! Here's a little clue:

Wish me luck!! :o)
