Falling in Fall

UPDATE: So I asked Charity if she made it through the day okay after the fall. It's as if I reminded her of what happened this morning. I told her I think it hurt me worse than it hurt her. But she doesn't really understand that.

Mondays. Yuck!

Charity was running into school holding hands with 2 other girls , I was just absorbing her enjoying her friends and this beautiful Fall weather when . . . SPLAT. Yep, she slipped on the morning dew'ed grass and CRASH, face first. Poor thing. She was all wet from head to toe with grass sticking to her hands and knees. As I consoled her, I told her little friends they didn't have to wait for her, that I'd take her in and they could head in. Nope, those cute little girls were determined to wait for her! They weren't going to walk in without Charity. Awwww!

Charity, those are the type of friends you want to keep around.
