Human beings are so much fun!

Made it through this Monday . . . finally!

Love that we eat dinner at Gramma's on Monday night. I think it's the hardest day of week, getting back into the routine and all, and to have a nice, family meal already prepared makes it a little easier. Thanks, Gramma!! ;o)

Ended up going to Tennessee Job Service, since I didn't take care of this on Friday. Well, I'm glad I didn't try to fit it in on Friday. I was told it was going to be a 2 hour wait, but thankfully it only was about an hour wait (and that was bad enough). That place was a little scareee. I felt like an alien . . . I think I was. The process itself wasn't a big deal, filled out an application and took about 3 minutes once I met with the lady. She promises me she'll take care of everything, definitely a formality. Glad that's behind me.

Charity (No school today!! Teacher In-Service) hung out with Gramma, did some shopping and went to the playground. When Dave was done working we ran out to get some groceries.

Glad I wasn't having as bad a day as the lady at Kroger, who was being very rude and wasn't helping me with the cantankerous self check-out terminal.

Too bad for her when, to her friend, she "whispered" a rather rude comment about my competence, my husband happening to be standing close by. Dave coming to my defense said, "That's my wife." She informed him that she wasn't talking to him. Ut-oh . . . wrong answer.

Dave, at this point quite upset by her lovely customer service, saw a manager standing nearby and notified him of what just happened. Ms. Customer Service interrupted their conversation injecting that she wasn't referring to me by the comment. OK! (Admitting to the manager that she did make the comment! Ut-oh!) As we left, the manager walked with us and apologized for the way we were treated.

Dave felt so bad that he "told" on this lady. I explained that I didn't care that the lady was talking about me, but she wasn't helping me. I hate those self check-out things! The least she could have done was help me out with that stupid thing if she was going to talk bad about me. Am I being that hard to get along with!?!?

. . . I think I'm staying inside all day tomorrow!! I'm not dealing with anyone!
