Cast Off, Pins Out!!

Today worked out great! (I love it when that happens!! :) There was no school today for parent/teacher conferences . . . and a very big day for Charity. The cast came off today. And the pins came out. Charity did so great. Didn't even shed a tear. The nurses distracted her with a squeezy stress ball and an "I Spy" book and she was fine! I couldn't believe it!! Such a brave girl! There was one moment of fear when the man that took out her pins mentioned she would have to have a new cast on for a couple more weeks. She panicked. But when Dr. Lovejoy looked at her x-rays, he said it wasn't necessary. So it all worked!
