My Review of J.G. Hook Piped Trenchcoat

Okay, so I just reviewed the coat I purchased from Chadwick's for Easter. And then it asked if I wanted to submit it to my blog, so I did. It is so very random in comparison to my other blog subjects. But I did need to mention it, since it turned out really great. I have to admit I hate shopping at Chadwick's because I feel they're rather overpriced for the quality they offer. But I was pleasantly surprised with this item. Thankfully since I bought it to match Charity's dress on Easter Sunday. First off, the jacket was originally $49.99, but I was able to find a coupon that saved me 30%!! Whoo hoo! And though I used it as a dress/coat, I believe it's intention is to be an "outdoor" coat. You don't get too many outdoor coats for $35!! The quality seems better than some of my Chadwick's purchases. So overall I couldn't have been happier!! :) Unfortunately I didn't have as good of luck with my white skirt. Which I laid down $30 for at New York & Company, not that it's that bad. But it was full price, and I hate paying full price. I know it's a physiological thing!! I guess you can't win every time!

I used this as a coat/dress and it worked great with a little white skirt underneath. I received numerous compliments! I enjoy that I can use it by itself or over an outfit as an "actual" coat. Versatile, I love it!!
