Gramma had a CT scan to see how her cancer's doing. She was home much earlier than I expected. I thought I would be struggling to keep Charity quiet most of morning until she got back. But Charity woke up about 9 am and Gramma was home before ten. The phone's been very quiet so it was fine. Pray Gramma's scan is as well!!
I have decided that I'd like a Coach or a Dooney & Bourke for my birthday this year and my sweet husband surprisingly agreed! He did purchase me a D&B one year for Christmas before Charity was born and I returned it for some strange reason?? and asked for a rain check. So I'm just cashing in on my check from 1999. I also read an article on how quality handbags are "green" causing less waste in the environment. I've decided that's a great excuse for this expenditure! Anything for a good handbag!! So I've been doing gobs of research online and watching them on eBaY, which is where I'll probably get one, since they price is much lower if you pay attention and stay on top of bidding. In addition to my vigorous research I headed over to The Mall at Greene Hills, which has an actual Coach store as well as Dillard's and Macy's. Both establishments had tremendous markdowns on all styles of these brands, but I just couldn't find one I absolutely loved for price you have to pay for one.
In additional to figuring out which bags I don't want, I never knew I could have so much fun shopping with a four year-old. I have created the greatest little shopping partner! As long as she's in her stroller she happy as can be!! We had such a great time looking at beautiful dress, cute skirts, trying on shoes, and testing out purses for both of us. She found some big sunglasses at GAP kids that she just had to have. And lucky for her I had a gift card for them! I barely spend $9 on sunglasses for me. I also found her the cutest, long skirt at Dillard's, and I had to get her that!
So upon leaving the mall I informed Charity that for her birthday, I would be getting presents since on my birthday she got all the goods!! She didn't so much agree with that thought. And when we got home and she immediately modeled her new items for Daddy, I couldn't think of money better spent!!

Love the new duds for Charity. She looked so cute last night. Mom just got a Coach from Ebay a few months ago and loves it. I actually took a picture of it on vacation I will try and post it. Happy Birthday!
