A "Little" Lesson

Meet Elisha:

Here's Elisha's room:

Here's Elisha enjoying his room. He likes it!

There's my Sunday School lesson for today. Well, not quite like that.

I'm pretty happy about this little room I put together at about 10pm last night for today's lesson about the Shunammite woman and taking care of the man of God. And I was pleasantly surprised, those little 3 years actually listened to the story today! Guess they liked my little room too!

Now I have to put a little discloser out there for other Sunday School teachers that are trying to follow a lesson plan. The lesson said to curtain off a section of the classroom and have a bed, chair and lamp in it. Okay! How's one supposed to go about that? I'll walk right into church on Sunday morning with my bed in tow! I'm all about the visual, real-life effect, but really!?!?

Luckily my headache medicine must have cleared my brain at least a little or Charity's wanting a doll house for Christmas idea has gotten in my head. And I knew that would be my saving grace: if those little 3 year-olds didn't glance twice my creation, I know a little girl who would. And who couldn't wait for Sunday School to be over this morning so she could come home and play with "Elisha"!
