A "Love"ly Time

I just returned for a beautiful wedding! Amazing! Two special people now unified as one in such a lovely ceremony! Nothing like a good wedding!

I guess I'm 100% girly girl. I love weddings. I don't have to know who's getting married, I just love to watch wedding. Like on TLC. Love weddings!! Well, the General Cookie . . . not so much. I couldn't get him to go to wedding at our church this evening, even after I had RSVP'ed him. He wasn't going. So off Charity and I went for the evening, just us girls.

Charity couldn't wait to see this wedding. She absolutely adores the groom and his music. Refer back to: Charity's Favorite Musician blog. And she has been so excited about this event.

I could not have ever imagined how much fun I had with this little bugga' tonight! She was such a good girl! Guess it's been awhile since I've been to a wedding with her, though she and her dad did attend one for a couple in the Asian Church last weekend when I was at the Christmas Village Managers Meeting. Must be the age, because she loved it. I explained all the happenings to her and she told me how it was different than the one she attended last week. But mostly sat soaking it all in. Every now and then asking sweet little questions like, "Where's the bride?" when everyone was on the platform and the bride hadn't yet entered or why the bride had to change her name.

We had such an amazing time together. I realize at times like these how bad a blogger I am, when I can't find the word I need to explain what I'm feeling. But the kind of time when you know you had an incredible, unforgettable time. Such a special mother/daughter time. She's my little wedding lover, just like her mom . . . now as long as she's not planning on having her own for another 20 or 30 years or so!!!

Here's another special moment Charity had tonight. She was so happy to be able to have her picture with the bride and groom! The picture's pretty bad, because they were finally sitting down to eat and I hated to keep them, so I snapped it fast. Charity kept asking if Ryan knew she was there, so I promised her we'd make sure he knew before the night was over! They were so sweet to let Charity interrupt their dinner and have a picture!

Best Wishes to Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Larkins!!
