Eagles, Eagles!

Thankfully Charity woke up in a good mood!! She was excited about being able to wear her cheering uniform to school due to the pep rally this morning. At first she was worried about changing, but they let them wear them the entire day, the entire half day! Which I'm excited about! She needs some rest/down-time before the game tonight that she's cheering at, and it doesn't start until 7! Poor cheerleaders, poor cheerleader parents!! Cheering "season" for the Jr. Cheerleaders is over after this evening, so the craziness will subside.

Charity didn't understand what a pep rally was. I tried to explain to her that she'd just be cheering for the school. So much to learn in Kindergarten!

But I think she enjoyed it! And having her grandmother there to watch her and how crazy all the boys acted watching them, and seeing Mrs. Rhodes, her teacher, do all the cheers with them, and the big Eagle Mascot! Fun times! She said they played the rest of the day, so it was a nice relaxing day for her. I'm glad! Now we're going to try and take a nap!

And a little video . . . Charity asked me to record her doing her favorite cheer: Y-M-C-A!
