I'm glad it's Friday . . .

This morning was a little rough, with the awful attack of allergies I'm under and still no laptop. Thankfully, around noon things starting looking up. My brand new adaptor came in the mail. At first it didn't start charging, but on the second attempt, it worked. I was ecstatic to have me and my laptop reunited. But upon moving from the floor in Dave's office to my desk, it started acting up again. And even as I was merely sitting at my desk, for some unknown reason, it decided it was done recognizing the power cord. There was nothing I could do to wake it up. So I just let it die, finished up working on Dave's computer, and decided to feed Charity some supper. After some dinner and coloring we decided to watch our Netflix, we had for months now, Bobby Jones, Stroke of Genius. A boring golf movie I got for Dave, but he's never watched. At least I can send it back tomorrow and get one more my taste.

I don't know if it's work or my laptop that is stressing me out more. But I am so happy the weekend's starting soon. I worked on XRT stuff for most of the evening and then even while we watched our video, did some more stuff. It's endless . . .

For the first time in a long time, I watched the Today Show and some of The View this morning. Wow!! It's been awhile since I absorbed information from this media, but they've both always got interesting and provocative shows. It was a nice break. I treated myself to some couch therapy since I was still so upset about the laptop issue this morning. And with the rainy weather it was the perfect day for it. The only thing more perfect would have been being in bed with my laptop!! :( Though I'm using it now, it does like the new cord, a little more, but for no reason it will stop charging shortly, I sure. Drives me crazy. I hate that it has a mind of it's own!!

Well, I guess while it's still charging I'll head up to bed. I think I'm going to try and hit Goodwill tomorrow. The first Saturday of the month is 1/2 day!! Gotta' love a wicked good deal!! And after "all" I've been through this week a little shopping will do me good!!
